Oops, she's a gold digger, just thought you should know

Hello, Ducks!

Starzina Starfish-Browne here with your Eric’s! Daily! Horoscope! for WhatWouldBeHumpDayExceptIt’sAWeekWithoutAHump(AsTheyAllAreForUs),  September Threeth, 2014.

We do not appear to have any friends with birthdays today.  Which is just as well, because We are in No Mood to wish happiness upon anyone else.

We are, in fact, in a towering rage, but We are unable to give vent to Our spleen for reasons which We also cannot state.

So please imagine that the following blank space is filled with four-letter-words, many of which you have not heard before, at least in the combinations in which you find them therein.  They are typed in all caps, occasionally in bold or italic, with the odd underlining.  They describe, amongst other things, various and sundry sexual, scatological, and torture-related activities involving people of Our acquaintance, their current and future children, and their ancestors, in the company of various circus animals, sea creatures, giant insects, and kitchen appliances, as well as various other inappropriate animate and inanimate entities, many of which are suffering from various infectious and venereal diseases.  The concepts of fire, famine, and plague are also touched upon.  Begin:

Well, We wish We could say that made Us feel better.

In the interests of Our ongoing (albeit feeble) efforts to be a more positive person, the following valiant attempts:

It will (eventually) be Friday.

Next week, We get to see Tribe of Fools’ Two Street (http://fringearts.com/event/two-street-a-tale-of-star-crossed-mummers-12/ ), and the following week, We get to see OurSistahOvella in Bent  (http://fringearts.com/event/bent-7/ ).

(Should We be concerned that We’re looking forward to Bent to cheer Us up?)

(Sorry.)

Also, We made dinner plans with a friend.  In three weeks, but still.
Sigh.

*****************
Speaking of naked people (howZZAT for a segue?), here is a flashback to Our FIRST Virgo video, the one with the naked angel:

In other other news, We have Our schedule at the Murder Mystery Factory for September.  We will be performing on Friday, September 12 and Friday, September 26.  If you are interested in seeing Us perform in same, holla at Us.  (For those naked skimmers who may not be aware, We have been promoted to A Position Of Power at the Factory, and so will be performing somewhat less.)

And heeeeerrrre’s the HorrorScope:

In addition to it being Charlie Sheen’s birthday (which improves Our mood not one whit), Our celebrity birthday website wants Us to know that it is also the birthday of someone called Shaun White.  Who is a snowboarder.  Whatever the hell that may be, and however it may make one a celebrity.  Jeebus.

We now present  AssHatted Ass(tromalogical) Ho(roscopulist) Kelli’s daily blatherings sans commentary.  Because We Just. Cannot. Even.

You take to the next new thing as if you’ve been waiting for it your whole life — and maybe you have! In any case, your terrific energy is perfect for stirring up enthusiasm in those around you.  ‘Honesty is the best policy’ may be your catchphrase at this time. You may feel as though a candid, direct approach is the only one to take, regardless of the situation. However, this may not be the case. Sensitive issues — and sensitive people — require a more tactful, roundabout strategy. If you hit them with the sledgehammer of your opinion, they may not be able to deal with it. You also might make several new acquaintances, in which case it would be a good idea to bring out the company manners, at least for now.  Your heart is in charge early today. By later this afternoon, though, the emotional roiling may have sapped your energy. Not to worry! Your brain takes over when night falls, and that’s when things really get started.

Namaste, MotherFuckers.

In gaseousness,

Starzina Starfish-Browne

Starzina Starfish-Browne was born in the wagon of a traveling show…well, okay, not really. She was actually born in Lowake, Texas, the daughter of a beautician and either a garage mechanic or the town mailman. At sixteen, she escaped her humble beginnings by running off with Doctor Browne’s Traveling Medicine Show and, more to the point, Doctor Browne. Following the dissolution of this unfortunate entanglement (Doctor Browne was a Virgo and Starzina is, of course, an Aries), which produced a daughter, Starzina entered a contest in Soap Opera Digest and won a scholarship to Oxford (yes, in ENGLAND), where she earned her doctorate in the newly-created dual major of Astrology and Human Sexuality. There is absolutely NO TRUTH to the rumor that Starzina’s second daughter has Royal blood, despite tabloid photographs allegedly depicting her cavorting on the Italian Riviera with Princes William and Harry, clad only in Prussian helmets and armbands of questionable taste. Starzina currently resides with her daughters in Philadelphia, the City That Loves You (On Your) Back, where she enjoys Double Coupon Day at the local SuperCruise and “encouraging” the coxswain of the Penn rowing team.

Let’s have a kiki

Hello, Ducks!

Starzina Starfish-Browne here with your Eric’s! Daily! Horoscope! for  Wednesday, March 6nd, 2013.  Happy Hump Day, to all those who are having a hump.  And Happy Snow Day, to all those who are having a snow.  We Our Own Self personally appear to have had a little rain, but are currently not having anything at all.  And it’s supposed to be in the fifties by the weekend, so whatever We do have, We shan’t have for very long.

Story of Our life, that.

So didja miss Us?  Oh, listen…Our Gentle Readers have hired the Mormon TaberCricket Choir!  Yesterday was Our 10:30AM rehearsal day.  That was supposed to be followed by the shooting of Our next Time of the Month Horoscope  video, which has now been rescheduled for Thursday.  Today, We have a student fillum audition and murder mystery rehearsal, then tomorrow Uncharted Waters rehearsal and the aforementioned video shoot.

How DO We keep Our toilet bowl clean between scrubbings?

Speaking of Uncharted Waters, pursuant to that endeavor, OurHouseWhereWeLive currently contains a mismatched pair of come-fuck-me-pumps (no surprise there), a WonderBra™ (ditto), and one of those things in which One carries a baby.  (No, NOT a uterus…the OTHER thing.)

(Future American literature doctoral candidates who are poring over these e-pisstles for their dissertations will want to note that this is the first-ever occurrence of the word “uterus” in an Eric’s!Daily!Horoscope!  You’re welcome.)

Here is the SitOnOurFaceBook event where you can find out all about Uncharted Waters (and its companion piece, Superwoman), and say you’re coming:

Happy Belated Birthday, meanwhile, to Rene, who turned twenty-four yesterday.  Also, Happy Belated Birthday to Jess, and to Floyd, and to Erik, and to Steve, and to Tom, each of whom also turned twenty-four yesterday.

As We said in ToozDee’s e-pisstle:

“Wow.  That’s a lot of twenty-four-year-olds.  1989 must have been The Chinese Year Of The Boink. (That there was a little Chinese joke, for Our Chinese readers.  “Boink” being Chinese for “str8 people fucking in the missionary position and making babies”.)

Eric’s!Daily!Horoscope!:  a multi-cultural experience.”

We realize now that that was erroneous.  Also in error, mistaken, and wrong.  For all of these twenty-four-year-olds to have been born in March, 1989, 1988 would have had to have been the Chinese Year Of The Boink.  Chinese is confusing.  Fortunately, everything clears up half an hour later.

Speaking of boinking and Chinamen, We have released Our new Starzina’s Time of the Month Horoscope video for Pisces, which see above.  Here is the link with which you would share same with your friends, both Piscean and otherwise:    http://youtu.be/KMNgwWwNux8 .

So this dyslexic guy walks into a bra…

Here are the HorrorScopes:

It is Kiki Dee’s birthday, and, really, no matter how gloomy the weather, doesn’t the day just brighten up a little bit when you say “Kiki Dee”?

(Loving Our callbacks-that-tie-all-the-threads-together as We do, We are currently struggling to create a joke involving Chinese fire drills and Kiki Dee’s uterus.  Fortunately for YouPeople, We are failing.)

Try to slow down today (Seriously?  Because OH, the places We’ve gots to go!)

— things aren’t going your way, (This is somehow news?)

but speeding through this phase (It’s a phase?  Really?  How long a phase is it?)

just makes it all worse for you. (And again We say, this is somehow news?)

Someone close needs you to explain something, (What?  A Chinese fire drill, or Kiki Dee’s uterus?)

so focus on that.  (No, thank you.)

There will be quite a few opportunities to have fun today, (Actually, yes.  Yes, there will.  We have an audition, but We don’t really care whether We get the part or not.  And the people in the murder mystery are a fun group.  Also, in between the two, We shall probably kill some time shopping in town, as it would make no sense to come home.  Of course, One Person Alone can’t accomplish a Chinese fire drill, but, hey, ya can’t have everything.)

(This just in:  tonight’s rehearsal has been cancelled, due to potential weather.  Consequently, We shall just go to Drexel for Our audition and back.   Said rehearsal served its purpose by getting said audition moved from 7 to 4 o’clock.  If We were (subjunctively) Charlie Sheen, this would be the point at which We would say “WINNING!”  (Of course, if We were (subjunctively) Charlie Sheen, what We would say at this point would be the least of Our problems.  Also, We would probably not know the word “subjunctively”.))

but one of them might require you to have fun at someone else’s expense.  (You say that as though it were (subjunctively) a bad thing…?)

You will get no joy knowing that someone else is missing out, (Sorry…have you met Us?)

so make sure you know the political circumstances of any new activities before you join in on them. (If there are going to be politics, We’re going home.)

Choose wisely. (You didn’t call Us “Glasshoppah”.  Stupid Chinaman.  Chinawoman.  Chinaperson.   Whatever.)

If you take advantage of other people, you’ll end up being the person who feels used.  (But if that were (subjunctively) true, people wouldn’t do it so much, riiiight?)

Stand up for the people who might not be strong enough to stand up by themselves.  (Where the hell’s the fun in THAT?)

There’s more than one right way to date, mate and relate. (She left out “ejaculate”.  Maybe it had too many syllables.)

Acknowledge all the possibilities and you’ll feel the pressure start to ease.  (Hey, that rhymed!  Kelli, you are a poet, but you are unaware of it.)

All I want for Christmas is vous

Hello, Ducks!

Starzina Starfish-Browne here with your Eric’s! Daily! Horoscope! for SayerDee, December 15, 2012.  Happy Birthday to Chris, who turns twenty-four today.  Also, Happy Birthday to Max, who also turns twenty-four today.  Also also, Happy Birthday to Kate, who also also turns twenty-four today. And lassoed but not leased, Happy Birthday to Our future ex-husband Joey, who also turns twenty-four today.

Here at Eric’s!Daily!Horoscope!, while We are certainly wont to go on for several paragraphs about How We Broke A Nail, We tend to leave actual natural disasters and human tragedies to pundits more weighty and ponderous than Our Own Self.  However, in the wake of yesterday’s catastrophic events in Connecticut, We would just like to say, thank Gawd for SitOnMyFaceBook, which offered almost immediate comfort by providing Paula Deen’s reaction to the tragedy.  (She was opposed, in case you were wondering.)

We are sure that Heavy Metal Dance Fag went brilliantly last night. Here is where to get tickets for tonight’s performance, should any be inexplicably still available:

This just in from Helen Keller’s Twitter account:

Even I'm getting annoyed with Christmas music at this point.

#AmITheOnlyOneThat sucks at musical chairs?

Not a big fan of watching Christmas movies. I don't know what it is.

And now, because it is Christmastime, fercrissakes, and We have Things To Do, but We’re still trying to post every day for Holidailies™, the following is an encore presentation of an Eric’s!Daily!Horoscope! from Decemebr 15, 2011.  (Be grateful.  You are being spared a long story of a dream in which We moved to Pocatello, Idaho.  (And no, We’re NOT making that up.)):

Police towed my car

Hello, Ducks!

Starzina Starfish-Browne here with your Eric’s Daily Horoscope for ThirtySomething, December 15, 2011.  Happy birthday to Chris, who turns twenty-four today.  Also, happy birthday to Max, who does not.

So it’s ten days till Christmas.  Or it’s nine days till Christmas Eve.  Or, to be technically correct,  it’s Christmas Eve Eve Eve Eve Eve Eve Eve Eve Eve Eve. Eve was weak, and We can see your dirty pillows. (Goodness gracious, she ejaculated, it’s only the first paragraph, and already We’ve had Christopher Walken and Piper Laurie. What’s next, Jonathan Frid?  (We racked what passes for Our brain to come up with a third celebrity to put there, and the best We could do was Jonathan Frid. Because Charlie Sheen is overexposed, and Charlene Tilton would just be gratuitous at this point. (Meanwhile, how many of you counted the “Eve”s earlier in the paragraph to make sure We didn’t make a mistake?    You MIGHT want to tell Santa to bring you a life for Christmas.)))

Does anyone else have trouble remembering how many Ps there are in Ryan Phillippe, or is it just Us?  Just Us?  Alrighty, then.

You are no doubt wondering where We have been.  Because naturally you spend your every waking moment preoccupied with Us and Our life.  Well, let’S see.   On Toozdee, We had an early morning eye appointment, which was, for those of you familiar with the geography of the City That Loves You (On Your) Back, at approximately 20th and Spring Garden.  We SEPTAd Our way there, sat through the entire boring affair (including almost an entire episode of The View in the waiting area…people actually WATCH this?!?), and then walked into town to do some Christmas shopping.  We then started walking the bus route back to Casa de Crackwhore, but no bus ever came, so essentially We walked from 20th and Spring Garden to OurHouseWhereWeLive.  How We remain the same size as OurHouseWhereWeLive, We’ll never know.

On Humpdee, Himself and his little friends The WaitStaff had to trek to the McMansionLand that is North Jersey to entertain at a corporate holiday party (which was held, for those who truly follow along, here: http://springlakegolfclub.net/ ) . Imagine fifty or sixty drunken Republicans with entirely too much money, to whom entertainers are clearly eighteenth-class citizens, and who have never seen a HO-ma-seck-shool up close before.  Yeah, that kind of show.  Add on that, with travel time included, the day went from 10AM to 7PM. Fortunately, a check is forthcoming.

Speaking of the WaitStaff, they continue to rehearse their dingles to the berry to give YouPeople The Perfect Christmas Sketch Comedy Show, and they hope to See You Next Tuesday, December 20th, at 8PM at Helium Comedy Club for The Real Housewives of South Philly Occupy Xmas.  Tickets can be obtained here:  https://www.seatengine.com/venue/helium-comedy-club/event/897 and make an excellent early Christmas gift for those difficult-to-buy-for people on your Christmas list .

In the meantime, to whet your appetite, you could go watch this.  If you haven’t already.  And you haven’t. We know, because We see you when you’re sleeping.  And you drool.  And not in a cute way.

You could also share it with your friends.  It’s the least you could do.  No, really, the very least.  Considering all We do for you:

And now, Christopher Walken, Piper Laurie, Jonathan Frid, and Charlene Tilton in a remake of I Love Lucy.  Or the HorrorScope:

You need to indulge your competitive side today — even more so than usual — and that could mean that you’re eyed with suspicion by those nearby.  (Those nearby today will include Our dentist and the WaitStaff.  Is there a competition of which We are unaware?)

Things start to get weird later, (So things are perfectly normal now?  Good to know.)

but for now, you’re all good.  (We hate that almost as much as We hate “it is what it is.”)

Things are really starting to simmer in your life — are you ready for the heat? (If you can’t stand the heat, regrout in your kitchen.  (What does that even MEAN?))

Because as what you want moves closer to you, it’s moving away from someone else.  (Wow.  That is so very Zen.  Snatch this pebble from my snatch, Glasshoppah.)

This person could make things a bit sticky for you for a little while, (Wait…are you saying that’s a BAD thing?)

but you don’t need to worry too much about that. (Sticky is GOOD.  Sticky is also a character in Our version of Snow White and the Seven Dwarves.)

It is much wiser to simply embrace all your newly found and richly deserved adventures.  (And We are nothing if not wise.)

Just concentrate on having a good time.  (Didn’t We already say “dentist”?  Pay attention.  Bee-yotch.)

If love makes the world go ‘round, you’re at the very hub of that wheel.  (Was that a fat joke?)

Keep it spinning wildly by acting on impulse, creating a hubbub or carrying out a daring feat in the realm of romance. (Hub, hubbub…see what she did there?  Neither do We.)
